Sinekatalog’s take

A Czech adventure comedy set during the Thirty Years' War, where three ordinary people are tossed between armies. Karel Zeman's inventive eye gives it a playful storybook feel instead of grim realism. Charming and inventive, best for family-friendly fans of handmade-looking cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
