1. Purpose

Sinekatalog is a non-profit educational project about cinema. It is provided for information and learning, free of charge.

2. Content is opinion and education

Plot summaries, critical notes, biographies and "what to look for" sections are editorial writing. They reflect the site team's reading of a film and are not statements of fact about any person or company. Where we describe a person's career, we rely on public sources and aim to be accurate.

3. No guarantee of accuracy or availability

Ratings, vote counts, dates, runtimes, credits and streaming availability come from third parties, are approximate, and change. The site is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site, to the extent the law allows. Streaming and trailer links lead to third-party services that we do not control.

4. Our content

The original text on this site (plot summaries, notes, biographies, the selection and arrangement of films) is © Sinekatalog. You may quote short extracts for non-commercial purposes with a clear link back to the page. Please do not copy the site in bulk, republish it, or scrape it to build a competing database. Third-party material (posters, photographs, ratings) belongs to its owners; see Sources & Credits.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attack, overload or try to break into the site, and do not use it for anything unlawful. Automated traffic that harms the site may be blocked.

We link to other sites for convenience. We are not responsible for their content.

7. Changes and law

We may change these terms and the date above will show the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
