Plot
A look at the 1950s muscle men's magazines and the representative industry which were popular supposedly as health and fitness magazines, but were in reality primarily being purchased by the still-underground homosexual community.
Sinekatalog’s take
A look at 1950s muscle magazines that served as cover for a hidden gay audience. Blending dramatised scenes with history, it is an informative, cheeky and affectionate portrait of pre-liberation desire.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
