For Alyssia and Ilaria, every farewell is also a reunion. Just a while ago they were at the Italian Mediterranean coast, now here they are standing at a parking lot in front of an Esso gas station, waiting for their father’s car to appear around the corner.
Sinekatalog’s take
A documentary about two sisters shuttling between parents, where every goodbye is also a reunion, starting at a gas-station parking lot. It looks at divorced family life through a child's eye with a quiet, observational touch. Touching for anyone interested in how kids carry the weight of two homes.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
