Plot

During the bloody war in Chechnya, a British couple and two Russian soldiers are taken hostage by Chechen rebels. Two of the hostages are then released to bring the money for the British woman who is forced to wait for the ransom.

Sinekatalog’s take

A bleak war drama about hostages caught in the Chechen conflict, told with blunt violence and little comfort. It is harrowing and morally murky, never glorifying combat. A tough watch, suited to viewers who accept grim realism.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
