Plot

Deep in the jungle, a group of Mexican gum workers crosses their path with Agnes, a mysterious Belizean woman. Her presence enlivens the fantasies and desires of those men, without knowing that they have woken up an ancient Mayan legend.

Sinekatalog’s take

A hypnotic jungle fable in which a mysterious woman stirs up an ancient legend among workers. The photography and sound are immersive, the storytelling elliptical. Best for viewers who like hallucinatory, slow-cinema atmospheres.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
