Plot

This film by Stan Brakhage investigates the process of memory and thought by melting a series of images and a field of color. The positive-negative flickering graphs a sort of shutter-window all over the matter of the vision.

Sinekatalog’s take

A flickering, hand-worked abstraction that melts images into fields of color to explore how memory and thought operate. It is intense, rhythmic and meant to be felt. Challenging but beautiful for viewers of experimental film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
