Sinekatalog’s take
A firefighter is tricked by a scheming owner into letting a house burn for the insurance. Chaplin's short is brisk and full of pratfalls, with ladders and hoses used for outrageous gags; a typically inventive slice of his early comedy.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
