Plot

The story of Ökkes who leaves his small village for Istanbul with his wife Fatma, his son Mehmet, and his brother Cemal. They buy a tractor and work hard to pay it off.

Sinekatalog’s take

A warm, earthy Turkish comedy-drama of a village family chasing a better life in the big city and burdened by a tractor loan. Gently funny and sympathetic about migration. A nostalgic pick for fans of classic Yeşilçam social comedies.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
