Plot

15 year-old Lyz, a high school student in the French Alps, has been accepted to a highly selective ski club whose aim is to train future professional athletes. Taking a chance on his new recruit, Fred, ex-champion turned coach, decides to make Lyz his shining star regardless of her lack of experience.

Sinekatalog’s take

A teenage skier in an elite academy is pushed toward glory by a charismatic coach, and the film slowly exposes an abuse of power. Tense, restrained and visually crisp, it keeps its moral clarity throughout. A sobering sports drama for viewers who can handle uncomfortable subjects.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
