Plot
One day waves bring a wooden statue of Lenin to a small town by the Black Sea. The statue is erected in the town square by the Municipality with the hope that it would attract tourists to the town.
Sinekatalog’s take
A wooden statue of Lenin washes up in a Black Sea town and becomes a tourist gimmick. The comedy pokes gentle fun at politics, local pride and opportunism. A wry, quirky Turkish comedy built on a delightful premise.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
