Udaka is a new, post-war city where corruption has already taken hold. A persistent district attorney wants to arrest and convict Katsumata, a laughing, self-confident thug.

Sinekatalog’s take

A tough crime thriller about a stubborn prosecutor going after a cocky thug in a corrupt new city. It is stylish and tense, easily enjoyed by fans of classic Japanese gangster cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
