Plot
Young honest public official is sworn in after his predecessor had to leave due to a corruption scandal. Soon, the young idealist discovers just how far-reaching the corruption is in his town and how easy it is to become corrupt yourself.
Sinekatalog’s take
A young, honest official takes a post in a corrupt town and finds how easily idealism bends. Szabó treats provincial graft with a cool, ironic eye, and the story works as a moral study of compromise. Thoughtful and sober, aimed at viewers who like political drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
