Plot

If you ever find yourself traveling down Interstate 49 through Missouri, try not to blink—you may miss Rich Hill, population 1,396. Rich Hill is easy to overlook, but its inhabitants are as woven into the fabric of America as those living in any small town in the country.

Sinekatalog’s take

This documentary follows three boys living in a struggling Missouri town, capturing poverty and fragile hope without commentary. Its intimacy is its strength, and the tenderness is never forced. A humane, quietly devastating portrait for fans of observational documentary.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
