Sinekatalog’s take

A petty slight between samurai spirals into a deadly duel and political fallout. Imai builds tension from pride and hierarchy. A serious, well-constructed period piece for fans of Japanese swordplay drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
