Plot
Raï is about a gang of youths in a Parisian suburb. This is the multicultural environment in which Mezz, Aziz, Laurent, Nordine, Poisson and the others have grown up. There is no future in Garges-les-Gonesses.
Sinekatalog’s take
A group of friends in a Parisian suburb grow up in a multicultural setting with no visible future. It captures the restlessness and tensions of banlieue youth. A reasonable choice for people exploring French urban dramas of the era.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
