Plot
Unable to marry Keriman, the girl he loves, because he cannot make a living, Onur is forced to become the neighborhood headman when his uncle, the headman, becomes paralyzed. Although the locals are not happy with Onur as their muhtar, he and his friends do everything they can to stay in the position.
Sinekatalog’s take
A young man, unable to marry for lack of income, ends up as neighborhood headman and faces unhappy locals. The neighborhood-comedy setup gives room for gags about small-time politics and romance. Light, mainstream Turkish humor for undemanding viewing.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
