Plot

This documentary explores the protests that exploded onto the streets of Chile’s capital of Santiago in 2019 as the population demanded more democracy and social equality around education, healthcare and job opportunities.

Sinekatalog’s take

Patricio Guzmán follows the mass protests in Santiago, tying a street uprising to Chile's long memory of repression. It is part reportage, part elegy, and clearly sympathetic. A moving watch for anyone interested in how a country renegotiates itself.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
