Plot
When Mari Gilbert's daughter disappears, police inaction drives her own investigation into the gated Long Island community where Shannan was last seen. Her search brings attention to over a dozen murdered prostitutes.
Sinekatalog’s take
A mother refuses to accept police inaction after her daughter vanishes and investigates on her own, exposing a wider tragedy. The film is sombre and well-meaning, anchored by anger at institutional neglect. A steady true-crime drama, more moving than thrilling.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
