Plot

A tale of the three funerals for the ashes of Italian writer Luigi Pirandello intertwined with a murder committed by a young Sicilian immigrant boy in 1930s Brooklyn for what is described as a surreal, grotesque, complex narrative.

Sinekatalog’s take

Pirandello's ashes make a strange journey home while a boy's crime unfolds in Brooklyn, and the film weaves both into a grotesque, tender fable. It is playful and melancholy at once. A rewarding choice for viewers who enjoy literary, formally adventurous Italian cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
