Sinekatalog’s take
A retreating Crusader army carries the remains of a king through hostile land. Pupi Avati leans into medieval atmosphere, mystery and a haunting sense of faith battered by loss. Austere and unusual, best for patient lovers of historical fable.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
