Plot

Peter, a young German, enters a suburban Buenos Aires restaurant; seeking only directions, he instead accidentally ends up with a plate smashing into his head, thrown by the irritable Olinda, the 60 year-old Italian immigrant owner of the restaurant.

Sinekatalog’s take

A small Argentine drama that begins with an abrupt, comic collision and grows into a tender study of loneliness. The mood is quiet and observant, with warmth earned slowly. A good choice for fans of gentle, intimate Latin American films.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
