Plot
A provincial chemist in the throes of a mid-life crisis must choose between burying his dearly departed grandmother and cremating her in this quirky comedy of manners starring Valerie Lemercier, Denis Podalydes, and Isabelle Candelier.
Sinekatalog’s take
A provincial family tangle over whether to bury or cremate a grandmother opens onto quiet comic observation about grief and habit. The humor is gentle, absurd and very French. A pleasantly eccentric comedy for those who like offbeat family portraits.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
