Sinekatalog’s take

A stirring war drama about a regiment of Black volunteers and the officer who trains them while facing prejudice from all sides. Its battle scenes are potent and the score swells with feeling. Powerful and dignified, if somewhat told through its white officer.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
