Sinekatalog’s take
An RAF pilot brings home the German woman who helped him escape, and his English village does not welcome her. Basil Dearden examines postwar prejudice with a clear moral purpose. Earnest, affecting drama about reconciliation.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
