Plot
“El mal is basically a suspense story, where the audience senses that something disturbing is going to happen, but doesn't know how or when. But it also aims to get the viewer to question their own certainties, their capacity to love and to accept their own dark side.”
Sinekatalog’s take
A Spanish suspense piece that promises dread without showing its hand, asking viewers to question their certainties and capacity for love. Its slow-burn approach favors unease over shocks. For viewers who enjoy psychological horror that works on the nerves.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
