Plot

A trio of female soul singers cross over to the pop charts in the early 1960s, facing their own personal struggles along the way.

Sinekatalog’s take

A vocal trio rises through the soul era, and the film turns backstage compromise into big musical numbers. The singing is powerhouse and the costumes dazzle, while the drama is more conventional. A showy treat for music-theatre admirers.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
