Plot

It is 80's Turkey, local musicians of Adiyaman are hired by the military and trained to welcome one of the forceful generals of coup regime.

Sinekatalog’s take

A bittersweet Turkish satire about small-town musicians drafted to serve a military regime. Its farce is rowdy and tuneful, then turns bruising when politics bites back. Smart, funny and affecting, it suits anyone interested in the darker corners of modern Turkish history.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
