Plot

Leyla wants to marry her boyfriend Nihat. However, her uncle Feyzullah opposes this. Some time later, Feyzullah dies and leaves his inheritance to Leyla. However, in order to receive the inheritance, she must marry someone other than Nihat. Nihat devises a plan. He arranges for Leyla to marry Kemal, a prisoner who is scheduled to be executed soon. However, things will not go as Nihat had planned.

Sinekatalog’s take

A Turkish comedy-romance in which a girl can only claim her inheritance by marrying someone other than her boyfriend, so he arranges a marriage to a prisoner about to be executed. The plot twist is delightfully absurd. Fun for fans of scheming Yeşilçam farce.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
