Plot
A young maiden is seduced by a charming traveling peddler who persuades her to steal from her host family in order to repay his gambling debts.
Sinekatalog’s take
A naive girl is led into theft by a smooth-talking peddler in a sentimental Griffith melodrama. The moral is plain and the style stagy, but it shows his early skill with emotional pacing.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
