Plot
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukraine's social and political institutions faced massive change, including an increasingly corrupt government and crippled infrastructure. A number of the nation's youth wound up homeless and addicted to a lethal cocktail of injected cold medicine and alcohol.
Sinekatalog’s take
A documentary on a man who rescues street kids in post-Soviet Ukraine, using methods that are controversial. It asks whether good intentions justify hard tactics. Gripping for those who like morally complicated nonfiction.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
