Plot

A man arrives home late and drunk as usual. His wife reminds him that he's supposed to take their daughter out to a play.

Sinekatalog’s take

A moralizing silent drama in which a night at the theatre confronts a drinker with the damage he is causing. It is sincere, theatrical and clearly a product of the temperance era. A neat early example of cinema as persuasion.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
